The Challenge
Delicia is a premium pastry shop and cafe with two locations in Oslo, Norway. Despite a loyal local following and a reputation for exceptional quality, they struggled to translate offline popularity into consistent digital traffic and footfall. Their Google Business Profile was under-optimised, local keyword rankings were weak, and paid search had never been attempted. With competitors investing heavily in digital, Delicia was losing share-of-mind for searches like 'best bakery Oslo' and 'pastry shop near me'. The brand also lacked visual consistency across digital channels — social posts were ad hoc and rarely drove engagement.
Our Approach
We launched a locally focused SEO strategy targeting high-intent Norwegian search terms, optimising both GBP profiles for each location with photos, posts, and Q&A. A Google Ads campaign was built with geo-targeted radius bidding, separate ad groups for key product categories (cakes, pastries, coffee), and conversion tracking through call clicks and direction requests. On social media, a monthly content calendar was built around Norwegian cultural moments, in-store visuals, and behind-the-scenes content. Graphic design was refreshed to create a cohesive, warm visual language aligned with Delicia's premium positioning.
